BEAUTY IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER

Ask yourself: Do you ever slow down to stop and take in the tiny little details all around you? Do you see the beauty wherever you go?
Being a creative person means, I find beauty and meaning in everything I see around me, the energy from people I meet and places I go.
Inspiration strikes all the time. It can be in any form, the sound of a voice, a lyric from a song. As I walk through nature, I suddenly see a new colour combination. The energy and love I receive from my family. Observations I see all around me, a mother’s love for her child, human connection. My connection to the earth and all other living things.
It gets all consuming and it can be overwhelming at times, as my brain takes in every detail, every little nuance, every colour, every tone, and every shade.
The wonderful thing is I am never, ever at a loss for ideas, as there are endless possibilities to explore which will take me more than one lifetime to explore!

Tips on how you can become more inspired and creative
Get out of your comfort zone.
Try a new activity, do not overthink this.
Think about something you have always wanted to do and carve out some time to explore it further.
Take the pressure off yourself and let go of the p word. P for perfectionism. You will not enjoy the experience if you are constantly worried about the outcome.
Make the commitment to try something new and permission to learn and grow.
Soon you will have a slightly new perspective and you may start to do things in a more creative or constructive way.
Watch your confidence grow.
